It all started…

Born in Stockholm in 1971, Adam began his musical career while still in his teens, playing piano and keyboards in various local jazz and pop groups. Since the year 2000, when he composed the score to Harald Hamrells ´A Witch in The Family´ he has concentrated on composing for feature films and TV-series.

Nominations

Adam was nominated Discovery of The Year at the 2001 World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent. In January 2006 he received the Swedish Film Institutes Guldbagge for his score to Josef Fares critically acclaimed movie ´Zozo´. The same year, Adam was honoured with a special price for best music at the Reims International Fiction TV Festival for his score to ´Stig Petré – Nothing to Be Ashamed Of´.

Credits

Among Adam’s other international credits we find the Dutch ´The Accused´ (Hollands Oscar submission 2014), directed by Paula van der Oeste, the Norweigan ´House of Fools´, Finnish drama comedy ´Forbidden fruit´, directed by Dome Karukoski, as well as the German TV movies Die Lüge/Bella Block/Unter Anderen Umständen (ZDF).

Action

Adam has also collaborated with Swedish action hero Dolph Lundgren on his films ’The Defender’ & ’Command Performance’.

He has composed music for ’Beck’, ’Wallander’, ’Känn Ingen Sorg’ (Stein/Mårlind), several films in the popular ’Sune’ franchise (Hannes Holm) and the mini series ’Ramona’ & ’The Crown Princess’, both nominated for en iEmmy.

TV Series

During 2018-19 Adam has been busy writing for the hugely successful SVT series ´Vår Tid Är Nu´, four new Beck films and Viaplay series ´Advokaten´ (Jens Lapidus).
